This picture, although terrible, clearly captures the duality of me. On one hand desperate to hide, to not disrupt, to fit in among the herd; on the other hand desperate to be seen, to be understood, to be accepted for who I am.
Barefoot in the Jungle. A phrase coined by a past mentor of mine, means living without inhibition. Dancing as if no one is watching. Letting yourself go and putting aside societal norms and judgments to truly make the most of this life. This is how I aspire to live my life and this site is a commitment to the brave mission.
I can tell you that I don’t have a real plan for what I’ll share here, maybe some creative musings, random thoughts, who knows – it’ll be a nice surprise for us both. I just hope I can be fully honest, maybe a little vulnerable, and inspire you to do the same.
